Happy Halloween everyone! I hope everyone has a fun and safe holiday!
Cameron and I will be staying home tonight since we both need to be up by 5am tomorrow. I still hold on to the small hope that I will have Trick or Treaters come to my door. I grew up out in the country and no one would come to our door. We would have to migrate to town just to Trick or Treat ourselves. Now that Cameron and I have moved back out into a rural area, my hope has dwindled, but I am still prepared!
On a side note, I've been inside my head a lot lately thinking about my online presence and how I would like to continue. As of right now, my main focus will become this blog and it's written content. I want to make an effort to create a more visual style of writing, with screenshots and infographics, less video and audio content. I've stretched myself too thin between everything going on in my life right now, not to mention I've become very disillusioned with YouTube as of late and I want to pull myself away from supplying video content completely. There is the potential I will make personal videos (vlogs and the like) or podcasts in the future, but if I do I will take my work to Vimeo.
I appreciate your patience as I feel out this new format. It will take me a few weeks to prepare, but I'm confident it will be worth it once I've worked it all out. I remember the people who support and interact with me on here and when I am able, I'd like to reward you. Please let me know if you have any questions!
Well, this is one of those things where I am glad that I choose who I watch for the person, not the content or the sheer entertainment value. I genuinely think you're a great person, and youtube or not (though I'll admit that my interest is piqued with your vague and subtle comments...), I'll be here for you. I hope things work out the best for you and more than that, I wish you lots and lots of fun and happiness! ^_^

Now, onto serious matters... Halloween! I wish you the best of All Hallows Eves! This is my favorite day out of 365/366 every year (though leap day is a lot of fun for me too!). I am ashamed at the lack of trick-or-treaters these days. I know we're more worried about people than we used to be, but that's no reason not to beg for free candy!
I want to thank you for interacting with me as well. I know it's not easy to keep your regular life in order and maintain an online presence, not to mention keep up with fans. Interaction is a great attention pull for me, as I said, I watch people for the people, so it's always a little disheartening to see a lack of interaction with fans from any public figure.
That all said, and not going too deep or making this (far) too long, I am glad you're around, and I am not going anywhere. Sad your videos are going away, but I understand. I have my suspicions... But I enjoy what you have to say and who you are. Breathe easy Miss Lissa! *highfive!*

ReplyDeleteI wanted to ask, and if it's to forward let me know and ill drop it but what was it that caused you do be come disenchanted with you tube? Was it any one thing or was it meany things. I have enjoyed you content for God years now form back when you still lived with your parents and before you were wedd I know geting a fallowing on you tube is a mix of content quality and mosty luck. Believe me I think you have a lot of quality thats why I always wish you luck :) but I'll miss your vids you're aways so nice and I always liked that.
I'm not going to miss you vids but, What ever you deside to do I wish you you the best of luck. Keep being your self, keep gamming and keep positive. I'll always be a fan as well as a active commenter :)
