The 30 day drawing challenge

July 24, 2013

Before I grew into a major perfectionist (scrapping most of my art before it ever really takes shape) I drew because I loved to. I never worried what other people thought or what might be considered "good" art. Art comes in all shapes and sizes, there is no one way to make it look and no one should try to fit into anyone’s definition or taste but their own. I currently don't have a specific style of my own and that is what I'm hoping to develop during this challenge.

This is a thirty-day art challenge I found floating around the Internet that I would like to try. I’m not sure who originally created the list, but I’ve made a few changes to make it more unique to my tastes and myself.

2. Favorite sweet/candy.
3. Favorite animal.
4. Favorite plant.
5. Favorite place.
6. Favorite video game.
7. Favorite book.

29. Anything.
30. A congratulations banner for completing the challenge.

When I finish I’m going to reward myself with a Moleskine sketch journal and create a video game themed 30 day drawing challenge.

The Witcher - The First 60 Minutes

July 9, 2013

Hello and welcome to an introductory 60 minute look at The Witcher. This is not a review, this is a first impression for you, the viewer, to get an idea of what this game has in store for you should you choose to purchase and play it for yourself. After I finish the game, a written review will be posted here to supply a more well-rounded pool of information.

The Witcher is an action role-playing game developed by CD Projekt RED and published by Atari. The game follows the story of protagonist Geralt of Rivia, one of the few remaining Witchers (specially trained and genetically altered monster hunters for hire), as he hunts down a gang of bandits that stole the precious mutagens used to alter Witchers.
