“Vegas, Vegas, Vegas!” – Clark Griswold, Vegas Vacation
I love this movie! I always watch it before I take a trip to places that feature gambling. I guess it's time to break it out again because my family and I are taking a trip to Las Vegas!
I cannot wait to have some relaxing downtime from work. Besides sightseeing, I plan on bringing my laptop to play games and my iPad to read in the comfort of my room during the hottest hours of the day (heat and I do not get along).
The best part? Cameron, my husband, has never been to Vegas. I can’t wait to see his reaction to Sin City. Granted, we aren’t really wild party creatures to begin with, but I’m excited to be able to show him the attractions each resort has to offer. I haven’t been in years, but I really liked Caesar’s Palace and the fountain show at the Bellagio.
I’m somewhat disappointed we aren’t staying on the strip, but we are staying at an amazing hotel that is owned by Wyndham with shuttles to and from the main areas. Cameron and I stayed at a Wyndham resort in Hawaii for our honeymoon and each “room” is built more like an apartment with separate bedrooms, living room, kitchen, etc.

DeleteI don't gamble much. I like playing Blackjack with friends, but I usually put about $20 in a machine.
